Hillside Students: Middle School
Wednesday nights, 6-8th grade students are invited to join us for worship, Bible study, and lots of fun! Amarillo Northwest students meet at the Amarillo West Campus on Wednesday nights. If you have questions contact Remy Allen.

We are talking about:

From friendship wars, to driving, to dating, to not dating, to thoughts of leaving for college, it can feel like everything in a high schooler’s life should come with a warning label that it’s *subject to change.

Middle School Movie Night

Do you like popcorn? Do you like movies? Are you in the 6th, 7th, or 8th Grade? We are hosting a Movie Night just for YOU! Bring your friends and get ready for lots of fun!

Northwest Community Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat, this night is going to be really sweet! The Hillside Amarillo Northwest Campus and The Church at Quail Creek are excited to host a Trunk or Treat for the whole Northwest Amarillo Community. Trunk or Treat will take place at de Zavala Middle School on Wednesday, October 31 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. If you would like to volunteer yourself and/or your trunk to be a part of the festivities please visit the Guest Services Desk during weekend services or contact Matt Johnson. We will also be collecting individually wrapped candy for the event; look for the barrels in the Northwest Campus lobby.

Hillside Recovery supports people through life’s hardest seasons by offering Christ-centered ministries that encourage spiritual growth and emotional health. These ministries include Celebrate Recovery, Abortion Recovery, DivorceCare, and GriefShare. Below you will find the details for each ministry.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery uses biblical steps to help men and women who struggle with life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. It doesn’t matter what your struggle, Celebrate Recovery can help.

Day and Time: Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Where: Amarillo West Campus, Fellowship Hall (6100 Soncy)
Childcare: Available for children birth -5th grade. Please register in advance.

Abortion Recovery
Abortion Recovery is a ministry that helps women surrender the shame of abortion to God’s healing power. Many women who have had an abortion suffer from symptoms of post-abortion grief and trauma. Don't suffer alone. This study offers a six-step biblical healing model led by women who understand.

Separation and divorce are some of the most painful and stressful experiences people face. DivorceCare meets weekly to help people face these challenges and work at rebuilding their lives. Each session has a video and group discussion. You will receive a book at the first meeting.

Holy Land Tour

Journey through the land of Israel April 29 – May 8, 2019. Spend ten days visiting Nazareth, Galilee, the Jordan valley, the Dead Sea, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and more. The trip is being coordinated through Jerusalem Tours, and Bible Studies at key sites will be led by Tommy Politz and Johnathan Mast. Spots on this tour are very limited. The cost of the trip is approximately $4,000 per person, and a $300 deposit is required to confirm your spot.
