Why do a Residency with Hillside?

Our commitment: We are passionate about training up the next generation of leaders who will serve not just at Hillside, but also in churches around the world!

Our context: At Hillside you will have the unique opportunity to experience ministry in a multi-site context. We have campus locations across West Texas and Eastern New Mexico.

Our church: As we pursue our mission to love God as we lead others into a growing relationship with Jesus, we value church health over church growth. Hillside will offer you the opportunity to be a part of some great ministry experiences and will challenge you to grow spiritually.

What is needed to apply?

In addition to your basic information, be prepared to upload your resume, a photo of yourself, and a 60-second video telling us why you want to be a Hillside Resident. The video should be thoughtful and represent real goals you have for yourself. It does not need to be fancy, just capture it on your phone or your computer. If you are interested in Video Production or Communications you will need to provide us with a link to your current reel or portfolio. Be prepared that Residents must have their own reliable transportation and a clean driving record (other than minor traffic violations).

What is the timeline for applying?

Applications for the 2019-2020 Hillside Residency Program will open in late September of 2018.
