Where is the trip?
Denver, Colorado and the surrounding suburbs.

When is the trip?

What happens on the trip?
We are partnering with several local ministries like Crossroads of the Rockies Church, World Vision, Manna Ministries, Food Bank of the Rockies, Oriental Theater/Berkley Church, homeless outreach ministers, and others.

Why should I send my student on this mission trip?
We believe in mission trips. We believe that sharing the love of Christ with others is important. This mission trip will allow your student to have fun, build relationships, and share the love of Jesus with people living in the Denver area.

Where is the group staying?
We are staying at Crossroads of the Rockies Church (2707 W. Mississippi Ave., Denver, CO, 80219). There are showers available, of course! We will be sleeping on the floor, so students are allowed to bring their own air mattresses.

How are the students traveling to Denver?
We have 15 passenger vans for the trip to Denver and to use in Denver throughout the week.

Will my student be safe?
Safety is one of our highest values. We have incredible leaders and (appropriately trained) volunteers who love your kids. Students will never be alone and will always be in a large group with adults!

What does my student need to bring?
Most importantly an awesome attitude, but also:
- Bible
- Pen
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses/hat
- Work gloves
- Water bottle
- Backpack (to carry during the day)
- Comfy clothes for work projects (these clothes might get messy)
- Jacket and cold weather gear
- Closed-toed shoes
- Pajamas
- One nice outfit for a church service (not shorts or t-shirts)
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Snacks
- Air Mattress (optional)
- Money for shopping (optional)

- Money for 2 fast food lunches and meal at the 16th Street mall (suggested amount: $50)

Can my student invite friends? What if they don’t attend Hillside?
We love it when our students invite their friends – especially if they don’t attend our church at all. We do our best to make sure friends serve alongside each other. So be sure to have the guest mention that they’d like to be grouped with your student, and we’ll do what we can to make that happen.

Sounds good, how much does it cost?
Depends on when you register. Here is the breakdown:
$325: Now – February 1st
$375: After February 1st
We have a limited number of spots, so register as soon as possible!

Do I pay the full price when I register?
Not unless you want to. When you register, you have the option of paying a minimum $100 refundable deposit per child registered. The deposit will be non-refundable after December 16. The remainder of the balance can be paid in partial payments. The full trip payment is due by March 1st.
