1. Take an ornament from a Sharing Tree located in your Campus lobby. Trees will be set-up October 29 – November 26 at theses participating campus locations:

- Amarillo North Grand
- Amarillo Northwest
- Amarillo South
- Amarillo West
- Canyon

2. Purchase a present. The ornament will tell you what kind of present to buy. We are hoping to collect over 3,000 presents this Christmas!

3. Return the unwrapped present to your Campus by December 3. That’s right, no need to wrap it!

1. On December 9, from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Amarillo North Grand Campus, we will host a Sharing Tree event where the Christmas presents will be available for children, birth – 18 years of age.

2. We have partnered with local schools to identify and invite families who could be blessed by Sharing Tree. Families will be able to purchase the donated gifts for their children. For $5 or 5 canned food items, families can purchase 2 presents per child, with a max spending of $20 or 20 canned food items per family, no matter how many children they are shopping for. Canned food items will benefit the High Plains Food Bank and cash donations will benefit Opportunity School. Presents will be available on a first come, first served basis.

3. Volunteers are needed to serve during this time. Register to help below!

Why Sharing Tree?

Because everyone has something to share! Let’s share in the joy of giving this Christmas.

As we share with other families this Christmas season we empower them to provide for their own family and share their
resources with groups benefiting the community, like the High Plains Food Bank and Opportunity School.

Want to share your time?

We need volunteers for the Sharing Tree event on December 9.

On December 9 at the Amarillo North Grand Campus, we need two shifts of volunteers, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. We have a lot of fun jobs to choose from like gift wrapping, helping families shop, restocking toys, helping in the kitchen, doing crafts, and more! Volunteers must be in high school and older to serve at this event. Volunteers must also have a current background check with Hillside. If you need to do a background check, it is simple and free. We will let you know how to begin the process once we receive your volunteer registration.

Sharing Tree Lubbock Campus

At the Lubbock Campus we are collecting presents this Christmas for the Children’s Home of Lubbock and Buckner’s Family Pathways Home. Visit the front lobby of the Lubbock Campus to get an Angel from one of the trees. The Angel ornament will tell you what kind of presents to purchase. Then, return your gifts by Thursday, December 7.
