God loves us and offers us the very best. He offers us truth, purpose, community. His truth is a light in a dark world. His commands are for our good. His love is unchanging.
But we are constantly tempted to exchange what He offers for things that are shinier and more convenient. We ignore His plans in pursuit of our own. We trade the truth for a lie. We neglect obedience in the face of comfort. We hand over our integrity with small compromise after small compromise. How do these exchanges change us?
