Welcome to Hillside Missions! We believe we have the greatest message of hope to the world in Christ. So we are compelled to share His grace and love to those far and near. Hillside is involved in missions in three primary ways: mission partnerships, prayer support, and service opportunities. Each of our mission partners is a person or organization that shares a common vision and commitment to fulfilling the Great Commission. The greatest thing we can offer these partners aside from monetary support is prayer.
Each year Hillside offers several short-term mission trips to countries like India, Belize, and Guatemala, to name a few. Usually, these trips are one to three weeks in length and are designed to support existing partnerships and to explore future partnerships. Through our short-term trips, we provide strategic support for our missionary partners while Hillside people gain a more global view of God’s kingdom.
In addition to the mission work Hillside supports across the world, we also believe that the mission field starts on our own doorstep. We are focused on providing opportunities to serve in our local communities through ongoing and short-term service opportunities. These opportunities are designed to support our local missions partners and to encourage, support, and empower our members to serve. Hillside Christian Church is primarily focused on working within our community in three main areas:
- supporting and caring for widows and orphans.
- helping individuals and families affected by poverty, hunger, and homelessness.
- encouraging the spiritual and scholastic education for our children and families by partnering with both schools and teachers.
Come and join us!

Belize Mission Trip Update
As part of our ongoing commitment to missions, both local and foreign, here’s an update on a recent mission trip led by our student ministry.
21 students and 7 leaders spent almost a week in Central Belize in “The Valley of Peace,” building a preschool, alongside local workers. Money given to Hillside Missions helped fund the project, in which the floor and walls for the preschool were completed. The library Hillside built a few years ago was painted.
The mission team also taught school in existing classrooms and led an after school VBS for the children.
We celebrate the opportunity to be a part of God’s work in Belize! Please continue to pray for the families in the Valley of Peace.
