Christmas Candlelight

Christmas Candlelight is a celebration service to share with your family, friends, and neighbors. Everyone is invited for a very special message and a time of worship with Christmas music, and a traditional candlelight service to conclude the evening. There isn’t a better way to usher in Christmas than through worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ! Let’s worship together on these dates:

30 Days to Understand the Bible

Are you new to Bible Study and not sure where to begin? Over the course of seven weeks, this class will together go through the book “30 Days to Understanding the Bible” by Max Anders. This is is study especially for those who are new to Bible study and are looking for a starting point to begin their own personal Bible study. We meet on Sundays from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in the Transit classroom beginning January 4. The cost of a book is $5; please register by filling out the form below.

Membership Class

If you are interested in becoming a member of Hillside or want to learn more about it, please join us on Sunday, January 11 immediately following the 12:00pm service for an HCC membership class. This class will give information about the mission, vision, and core values of Hillside. Lunch will be provided for all family members and childcare is available by reservation. Spring Break Mission Experience

On March 16-21, High School students have a missions opportunity to serve in Denver. The cost for each student is $325, with a $100 deposit due by February 1; the final payment and registration deadline is February 15. Middle School students have a missions opportunity to serve in our own community of Lubbock on March 20-21. The cost for each student is $40 and the registration deadline is February 15. Guatemala Medical Mission Trip

This will be a medical mission trip to San Raymundo, Guatemala where participants will help operate a week-long clinic in a free-standing hospital. Physicians, nurse practitioners, dentists, surgeons, nurses, translators, pharmacy staff, construction workers and other ancillary personnel will be needed to make this trip a success. We will be able to take both medical and non-medical people. The trip is from February 21 to March 1, 2015 and the cost is $2,000.
