Welcome to Hillside Groups at the Canyon Campus! As our church grows larger, the best way to be a part of a biblical community that’s personal and effective is through GROUPS. We invite you to join a GROUP at the Canyon Campus. Whether it meets on Sunday mornings, as a Study Group during the week, casually in someone’s home, or in a circle with others seeking help in recovery, a GROUP is the best way to experience personal spiritual growth and feel connected to other people. Each Hillside campus has a unique approach to GROUPS. To find out more about joining a GROUP, click here.

Canyon Groups

Where two or more people gather together, you can find biblical community. Sometimes we connect with people because of similar affinities, such as age, stage of life, gender, or shared interests. For information on Canyon Groups, contact Blake Moore at 806.457.7431 or blake.moore@hillsidewired.com.

HillsideWomen exists to join HCC’s mission to love God as we lead others into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that when women connect more deeply with God, they live more confidently within their families and communities. We’re devoted to loving and supporting each other, studying together, and experiencing real friendship as women. Whatever age or background, we welcome you to join other HillsideWomen as we walk together through life!

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is on a mission to celebrate motherhood. MOPS builds circles of women who love each other like family, because raising humans is beautiful and hard, and having each other to lean on is life-giving. Together moms can change the world in all the best ways. At MOPS you will find support, friendships, and resources to encourage you on the journey of motherhood. We will meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Amarillo South Campus (6901 S. Bell). Childcare is available.

The Believer’s Burden: Discovering and Fulfilling What God Created You to Do

Your gifts. Your passions. Your burdens. God’s glory.

By identifying the pieces that make you who God created you to be, and combining them with the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit and an eternal perspective, The Believer’s Burden by Rachel Sweatt seeks to answer the age-old question: What is my purpose? Why am I here? What is God’s will for my life?

By seeking the Scriptures and walking through personal reflections in partnership with prayer and community, this study will illuminate potential areas of service for every Christian – no matter what season of life. Believers will be equipped to do what they were made for: make the most of every minute – all for the glory of God!

This study will be offered on Wednesday mornings (9:00-11:00 a.m.). Registration is required. Childcare is available by reservation.

Time: 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Location: Canyon Campus (1800 23rd St)
Childcare: Available for children 5 years old and younger
Cost: $15 for The Believer’s Burden Study Guide.
