Welcome to Hillside’s West Campus Students Ministry! Thanks for stopping by! We offer an environment where students are able to take the next step in their spiritual journey. We hope to connect students to the heart of God through worship and biblical teaching, and give them the opportunity to experience the community of a body of believers.
We know that 6th-12th grade can be a difficult season in a person’s life, both spiritually and socially. Dating, peer pressure, how to dress, getting good grades – all this (and a lot more!) can heap stress into a student’s life. We hope to offer a place where those stresses are recognized, talked about, and placed under the peace and light of Christ’s truth for our lives. Our students have the chance to come together in both large and small group environments to find wisdom, encouragement, and community.
6TH – 8TH GRADE STUDENTS
ON BREAK FOR THE SUMMER!
We will start Wednesday night programming back up on Wednesday, August 23.
Have a great summer, and see you at Camp!
9:30 – 10:45 a.m. in the Students Building
9TH – 12TH GRADE STUDENTS
HOME GROUPS ARE ON BREAK FOR THE SUMMER!
WE WILL START GROUPS BACK UP AFTER SCHOOL STARTS IN THE FALL.
HAVE A GREAT SUMMER, AND SEE YOU AT CAMP!
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WILL MEET OVER THE SUMMER FOR A BIBLE STUDY AT EITHER 9:30 A.M. – 10:45 A.M., OR 11:00 A.M. – 12:15 P.M. IN THE STUDENT BUILDING.
At Hillside, we are passionate about all high school students having the chance to experience group life! Groups are a place where students can meet together to worship God, connect with other Christ followers in biblical community, and share their faith with their friends.
Instead of gathering at the Student Building on Wednesday nights, Amarillo West and Northwest high school students will gather in home groups throughout the week. In these groups students will have fun with friends, study the Bible, and grow in their faith.
• Weekly Home Group Meetings
Throughout the school year, high school home groups will meet weekly. Each group will choose a night of the week to meet that works best for them. Groups will be of mixed gender and grade. Every home group will be hosted and led by a team of adult leaders. If your student has school commitments during the week, they will now have the freedom to choose a group that meets on a different night! Click the button below to join a group.
• Monthly Worship Gatherings
Each month, all of the groups will meet together for a unified worship service. This will typically be on the first Sunday of each month, in the evening at the West Campus.
• Fun Nights
Each semester we will host several fun nights with activities like broom ball, dodge ball tournaments, bowling, and bonfires. Everyone will meet together to just have fun.
• Sunday Mornings
Student programming will be offered during the 9:30 a.m. service each Sunday at the Amarillo West Campus. High school students are also encouraged to attend a weekend service in the main auditorium at either campus! Whether attending the service as a family, or attending with friends, weekend worship is a vitally important part of a student’s spiritual life.
• Wednesday Night Volunteering
High school students will have the opportunity to serve as assistant middle school group volunteers during the middle school Wednesday night programs!

Sunday Morning Groups
Sunday Morning Groups:
We understand that it’s important for middle school and high school students to connect with their friends for Bible study, discussion, and fun, which is why we encourage students to be a part of a Sunday Morning Group. Middle school students experience age and gender-specific groups led by adults who sincerely care about students. High school students experience a large group teaching and discussion time by adults who are passionate about God’s Word.
Sunday Morning Groups meet throughout the year in the Amarillo West Campus Students Building. The doors and the Student Cafe open at 9:00 a.m.; groups start at 9:30 a.m. To find out more, please contact Blake.Clevenger@hillsidewired.com.
