Welcome to the Amarillo West Campus Hillside Kid’s page! If you are planning a trip to our church, this is the easiest place to find information about our worship venues for children, our small group structures, as well as providing answers to some frequently asked questions.
Hillside Kids is located in the 500 building on the northwest side of the auditorium. There is easy access to the kid’s building from the surrounding parking lot. You may also enter through the front doors of the 100 Building (auditorium) and a member of our Guest Services Team would be more than happy to show you where our first-time guest check-in desk is located.
The Nursery provides a safe, loving environment where children are introduced to the Bible at a very young age. Since children develop at different paces, the Nursery is divided into developmental stages rather than age groups. With cuddler rooms, crawler rooms, and walker rooms, each environment is designed to meet your child’s needs. The Nursery is available during each weekend service. For more information you can contact Marie Burchfield at 806.457.4918 or email@example.com.
Clubhouse is our preschool ministry specifically designed for children age two through Kindergarten. Our large group environment introduces children to worship, interactive drama, and Bible stories. Our small groups include age-appropriate Bible lessons and hands-on learning with games and activities to reinforce the “bottom line” for the week. Before a child leaves our environment, we want them to know three things: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. Clubhouse is available during each weekend service. For more information, contact Shea McWhorter at 806.457.4966 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Extreme Kids is our ministry for elementary school students, which includes large group worship, Bible story, and small group practical application. Our goal is to love God as we lead kids into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We build our ministry around Luke 2:52, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” We apply this lesson through 3 statements every day: I need to make the wise choice. I should treat others the way that I want to be treated. I can trust God no matter what. We not only want to help build a strong foundation for our kids, but we also want to empower families to be the spiritual leaders of their homes. What do I need to bring?
For children 2 and under, bring a diaper bag and bottle with your child’s name. Also bring any comfort items such as a blanket or pacifier, along with a change of clothes, just in case.
When should we arrive?
Arrive 15 minutes before the service you are attending. This will give you time to check your children in and ask any questions you might have.
Is there a check in process?
All children will be checked-in when you arrive. You will be given a computerized check-in receipt that you must show when you pick-up your child after services. Your child’s safety and your peace of mind are a priority to us.
How will you reach me if my child needs me?
If we need to reach you during the service, a member of our staff will send you a text message on your cell phone and you can simply get up and meet us at the entrance of the children’s area. Please make sure to provide the appropriate cell phone number when you check your child in.
May I tour the facility?
You may take a tour of the Nursery or Children's area any time during the week. Please call our Hillside Kids staff to make an appointment at 806.457.4921.
