Hillside Students: High School
High School Home Groups launch the week of August 27. All groups will have their first meeting sometime between August 27 and September 2.
What are groups? Groups are a place where students can meet together to worship God, connect with other Christ followers in biblical community, and share their faith with their friends. Throughout the school year, high school home groups will meet weekly. Each group will choose a night of the week that works best for them. Groups will be of mixed gender and grade so every student can invite their friends. Every home group will be hosted and led by a team of adult leaders. A few times each semester, all home groups will have the opportunity to meet together for worship services and fun nights with activities like broom ball, dodge ball tournaments, bowling, and bonfires.
How does my student join a group? We are passionate about all high school students having the chance to experience group life. If your student is new to high school ministry or just new to groups, we want them to be in a home group! Students can start the process of joining a group by going HERE.
You and your student are also welcome to directly contact one of the Student Pastors. If you as a parent would like to help lead in a home group or host a group in your home, please let us know.
