Compassion at Hillside

Compassion at Hillside is our specific call to Serve Locally & Support Globally.

May 1 -5 we will be hosting “The Compassion Experience,” which is a self–guided tour through a realistic display of a day in the life of a child living in a developing country. For more information and to reserve your spot for the Compassion Experience, click here.

May 3 &4 we will be  focusing on supporting Compassion International in its mission of “Releasing Children from Poverty in Jesus Name.” During this weekend, it’s our goal to sponsor at least 1,000 children through Compassion’s ministry worldwide.

We are focusing on serving others in our community with Christ’s love and commitment.  If you are already serving a local ministry or organization, we encourage you to keep that commitment to serve!  If you are searching for a great place to serve others, here are some local organizations we believe are helping change people’s lives.  Fill out the form below and someone from the Amarillo Northwest campus will contact you with information on how to serve here in our area.

Snack Pak 4 Kids
An organization dedicated to Stop Hunger & Start Learning for Kids in Amarillo.

 Sharing Hope Ministry
Sending Bibles to women incarcerated and in rehab to offer hope and growth through change.

American Red Cross
Disaster relief at home and abroad

High Plains Food Bank
Feeding the Hungry in the Panhandle

Habitat for Humanity
Changing lives with homes

We recognize that becoming involved in serving in local missions is a commitment on the part of the volunteer and the organization.  We want to help make this relationship as helpful to everyone.  We are here to serve and assist you as you serve others!  Please let us know if we can help in any way.
